Safety & Cutting Disclaimer

Quartz surfaces contain crystalline silica. Cutting, grinding, or polishing these materials generates hazardous airborne dust that can cause severe, irreversible lung diseases like silicosis.

To eliminate these risks, all fabrication must comply with OSHA standards:

• Zero Dry Cutting: Dry cutting is strictly prohibited. Fabricators must use water-integrated tools and wet-cutting methods to suppress dust.

• Mandatory PPE: Handlers must wear properly fitted, NIOSH-approved respirators (N95/N100) rated for silica dust.

• Dust Control: Maintain proper ventilation and manage waste slurry so it cannot dry into hazardous dust.
